The Soaring Debt

Since COVID-19 hit in 2020, the debt has soared nearly 50% ($25 trillion to nearly $37 trillion) – further compromising America’s already weakened financial state.

The Solution: An Amendment

To prevent a default on our government’s debt obligations, we must pressure Congress to propose a Balanced Budget Amendment for ratification by the states.

The Path: Article V

This can be done under Article V of the U.S. Constitution by using the ‘threat’ of a convention (achieved when we obtain 33 of the 34 states required).

Momentum is Building

Fortunately, we have 27 of the 34 states required to call a convention to propose a Balanced Budget Amendment for ratification by the state legislatures — just 6 states shy of 33 needed to pressure Congress!

We are campaigning in states all across the country and we could reach 33 as early as 2026!
